tales of the mysterious traveler 15...

Here's something kind of interesting, the final (I think) issues of a mystery/fantasy/horror anthology series, published by Charlton in 1985, shortly before the company went under. Though drawn (by the great Steve Ditko ) here for some reason as looking EXACTLY like DC Comics' Phantom Stranger, the Mysterious Traveler character actually dates back to a 1940's radio show. The first Mysterious Traveler comic book came out in the late 1940's, a Mysterious Traveler pulp magazine in the early 1950's. Charlton debuted their series in 1956, and it ran for 13 issues. Publication ceased between 1959 and 1985, when issues 14 and 15 were published. Steve Ditko did most of the art for the entire run, I think...
