oh man i was just talking about this with a friend the other day, my mum bought me this when i was about 8 years old, it was the first comic i ever read with the words "mutha f_cker!" in it, great gore too hehehe. aww wish i still owned it.

Wow.

I convinced my mom to buy this for me as a kid saying it was just a comic book.

The pages leading up to the chestburst and the explosion page haunted me for years.

Whoa...I used to have this when I was young and it scared the hell out of me (as did the film; still does to some degree). Made me so uncomfortable I eventually gave it away. Oh, and I had no idea Walt Simonson did the art! Very interesting to see what his style finally developed into with Thor (my fave Thor artist next to Sal Buscema) and X-Factor. The lettering for the panel with the "BRAMM" sound effect is a good indication of the future.
