unexpected 145...

Here's the next issue of DC's Unexpected, #145. I've included a whole story, "Maniac at Large," because I find it very EC-esque, and because I'm in a Detective mood. Dig it. It's written by Carl Wexler and illustrated by Ralph Reese. Reese started out in the 1960s as Wally Wood's assistant, and later worked at Neal Adams' continuity studios. He did illustrations for underground comics and "National Lampoon." Reese worked for a number of comics publishers, including horror companies Major (Web of Horror), Warren and Skywald, in addition to DC (and Marvel, and Eclipse). The cover is, I think, again by Nick Cardy. George Kashdan (writer), Abe Ocampo (artist) and Sid Greene (artist) all also worked on this issue.

This is possibly one of the worst jobs to learn at home, at least from the animals' perspective...

More to come...
