richard corben revisited...

Here are a few more comics with Richard Corben art. "Tales from the Plague" (1986) is a graphic novel published by Bill Leach Collectibles. It's written by Dennis Cunningham eith nice b&w Corben artwork. "Son of Mutant World" (1990) and "Children of Fire" (1987) are both from Corben's own Fantagor Press. "Son of Mutant World" has stories written by Jan Strand and William Nolan (originally published in Pacific's "Alien Worlds") with color Corben art, as well as a story written and illustrated by Bruce Jones. Both "Son of Mutant World" and "Children of Fire" are more science-fiction than horror, though they feature an impressive array of bears, sharks, drooling monsters and skeleton people. Good stuff, all...

The cold I've been fighting is finally catching up to me, so writing has been slow, but stay tuned for some selections of Eerie Publications, plus all those film reviews I need to get caught up on. Promise.
