the hits just keep coming...

Aaaaaaaaaand, more Deadshot, here from Suicide Squad #'s 16 & 18. 16 features some more cool "new wave" inking techniques, plus an appearance by the Steve Ditko-created Shade, the Changing Man, who became a regular in the comic for a while, giving the book an extra cosmic/psychedelic edge in addition to the mystical/supernatural already represented by characters Nightshade and Enchantress. Nightshade (also originally illustrated, possibly created or at least co-created by Ditko) was a former Charlton Comics character integrated into DC comics in the 1980s along with Blue Beetle, Captain Atom and the Peacemaker. Shade was revived in 1990 as mature audiences title written by Peter Milligan in the vein of "Swamp Thing" or "Sandman" (it was the last superhero-type comic I read into adolescence). Both Nightshade and Echantress were recently featured in the cool "Shadowpact" series which unfortunately just ended.
18 has Deadshot doing was he does, namely being a dick and shooting people. I really shouldn't like this character as much as I do. Well, whatever, it's good stuff, enjoy...

More later, reviews, comics, complaints etc. Pain. Pain. Pain.
