kirby's demon '73

From 1973, from DC Comics, here comes the Demon #13, written and drawn by Jack Kirby. I've always dug this character, a Kirby creation (aka Etrigan), housed in the body of the never-aging Jason Blood, who struggles with the conflict between his own heroic nature and his demonic persona's tendency towards evil. This particular issue is positively action packed, and featured maybe the most awesomely named villain of all time- Baron von Evilstein! It should also be noted that Kirby portrays the police here as being unreasonable, bigoted and overmilitiant, a pretty gutsy move for mainstream comics in the early 1970s...
