richard corben

I wrote a whole little bio thing for Richard Corben just now, but re-reading it I found it kind of dumb...Anyway, Richard Corben's artwork is awesome. He's really sort of the tops when it comes to horror comics of the 1970s, and is still doing some pretty cool stuff today. Here, for your purusing pleasure, are some selections from Corben's many contributions to Warren's "Creepy" and "Eerie" in the 1970s, plus a little something extra from the 1980s. Enjoy...

From a 1980s one shot by Pacific Comics, in which Corben adapts Poe's "Fall of the House of Usher"...

Hope that scared you! Check back later for more Halloween type stuff, and tomorrow for E.C. Comics and more...
